Centrepoint

After Diana’s association with The Passage her involvement with homeless people extended to Centrepoint. Since 2005 HRH The Duke of Cambridge Prince William took forward his mothers work by becoming the Patron.Centrepoint is the UK’s leading charity for homeless young people they support 9,200 young people every year. They help 16-25 year olds into a safe place to live, give them a health assessment and plan support for their individual mental and physical health needs. Centrepoint provides services for young single parents, young people leaving care and young people escaping violence and abuse. They operate short-stay hostels, supported flats, and services where homeless young people can study and train. A safe place to stay is the foundation from which they can tackle the problems that led them to become homeless. Currently, 88 per cent of young people move on from Centrepoint positively.

We have worked with Centrepoint since 2005 and were recently re-awarded the contract in 2017 taking on their London stock, south and north of the Thames. We participate in their fundraising events and a number of our engineers take part in the annual “Sleep Out”, next one being in London on the 19th November 2017.
