Apprentice Gas Engineer
We work with clients and local schemes for our employment needs. Every year we aim to employ a number of apprentices and train them to our high standards.
Becoming a Watret apprentice will give hands on experience, a salary and the opportunity to gain qualifications while you work. Successful applicants must be self-driven, highly motivated and be able to manage their own development throughout the programme.
Our Apprenticeship Programme is designed to train you to become a fully qualified member of our team. During your apprenticeship you will receive excellent technical training which will result in the Initial Gas Qualification (Domestic). Following this you will complete a portfolio of work and finally take part in a 5-day assessment, culminating in being awarded Core Domestic Gas Safety certification.
You must be 16 years old or more, eligible to work in the UK and not in full-time education to take up a paid apprenticeship opportunity with us. You must hold a minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above, including English and Maths. If you do not already hold a full driving licence for use within the UK, you must be working towards one at the time you submit your application.
